If the tire is going in reverse, that means the phase wires are backwards. They'll need to be swapped green and blue. If the wires are good, you must have an internal connection within the motor, you'll need to pop off the cap to take a look. Hope this helps

This install should he straight forward, you can purchase a step-down for the voltage or you can do what I did. I purchased a kit from Amazon that has the harness for blinkers, taillight and headlight. This will allow you to use the turn signals and brake functions
